WE MAKE ART

We are first and foremost artists. Though we are both mixed media artists who work extensively in visual journals, we each have our own unique style with our own lines of artistic inquiry. WE TEACH

Both of us have spent many years teaching art in the public schools of Maryland, Virginia, and North Carolina. Throughout many of those years, we have also provided professional development workshops to teachers and art workshops to the general public. Though no longer public school educators, we continue to share our passions at conferences, workshops, and presentations at a wide array of venues. David currently teaches at Shepherd University in Shepherdstown, WV, and Eric teaches workshops throughout North America. We are always looking to establish new connections and teach workshops for schools, school systems, and art studios. Contact us, if you would like for us to teach or present for your organization.

WE WRITE

We co-wrote two best selling books on the visual journal, both published by North Light Books. The Journal Junkies Workshop: Visual Ammunition for the Art Addict was released in May 2010, and the follow-up Journal Fodder 365: Daily Doses of Inspiration for the Art Addict was released in August 2012.

Eric continues to write and publish to the Journal Fodder Junkies blog, and he has contributed to several ebooks. He is currently releasing a series of ebooks titled The Journal Fodder Junkies Daily Challenge beginning August 2017. To find out more about this series, check out the Shop.
